Flemish educational leave

In the Flemish Region, the paid educational leave is replaced by the Flemish educational leave (Vlaams opleidingsverlof or VOV) 

Each course has an ODB number, listed below.

The school provides the student with a certificate of registration within 8 days after the registration. With this attestation of enrollment, the employee can request the Flemish educational leave from his or her employer.

The registration certificate must include the following information:

About the employee

- The worker's first and last name

- The national register number or social security number

About the school

- The nameLe nom

- The KBO number or registration number. For the CCLM the number is: 0207.389.859

About the course

- The course name

- The ODB number

- The number of course periods

- The start and end dates of the course
